A thermodynamic study for the stability of some aromatic complexes formation derived from the reaction of 4-dimethyl amino benzaldehyde with diazotized dinitro aniline reagents.

Abstract The basis of this research includes the preparation aromatic azoimine complexes resulting from coupling reaction (4) Schiff bases with diazotized dinitroaniline reagent. Ultraviolet spectra, infrared and melting points are among most important physical methods used to identification right compounds prepared in study. After that, stoichiometric ratios components complex were determined using molar ratio method, we got a (1:1) for all studied complexes. Finally, factors that affect stability constant values studied, namely: A-Effect acidity function: These constants each at acidic function (pH) different temperatures, obtained constants, which evidence stable azo B-The effect temperature: calculated range temperature (313–273oK) allowed us know reactions formation dyes spontaneous exothermic negative (∆G ∆H) respectively, as well (∆S) value supports what was mentioned previously. C-Effect Structure: location type group also has an on complexes, proved by variation constants.
